Re: after upgrade to 7 hp will not provide updates to

hi,

its just a warning you can ignore it & continue with the installation...

after upgrading to Win 7 (connect to internet)

goto control panel>>open systems>>open Advanced system settings>>goto Hardware TAB>>open Device Installation settings>>select

Yes, do this automatically (Recommended)

for installing missing drivers

reply if few drivers are still missing after isntallation

provide with your PC's model number...

Re: after upgrade to 7 hp will not provide updates to

Hi,

Please ignore for now EverWin post.

Write down Your p/n number which is under Your computer and looks like this.

Go to Control Panel -> Devices Manager

Click with right button of Your mouse on each yellow sign and choose properties. Then go to bottom details and paste here Hardware Ids. This way we will know what it is.

Below You've got example how to do it:

Device ID

Device ID

Device ID

** Say thanks by clicking the "Kudos! Star" which is on the left. **

** Make it easier for other people to find solutions, by marking my answer with "Accept as Solution" if it solves your issue. **
