bios application error (501)

My Pavilion g6 notebook PC has a message for BIOS application error (501) while start up. After checking online i was told that BIOS has got corrupted so install latest version of BIOS. when the Hp support assistance was contacted for product no. a9r40pa it was displayed that unable to locate support and troubleshooting page for the product. I also get a message that AMD graphics card not installed after start up. Please help. How do i download the latest version of bios
