Hello,
I bought my laptop in July '09 and have since had 4 batteries and 1 ac adapter sent to me from HP due to the charger not charging. Everytime I get the new battery, it will charge for a few minutes and then stop and it will say plugged in, not charging. I am getting sick and tired of not being mobile with my laptop since I always have to have it connected to the adapter. I have done the battery check and it always says replace. I don't think 4 batteries needing to be replaced is the problem...there must be some other issue with the laptop. I have done all of the checks that I have found online including uninstalling the battery driver and the bios check. Can someone please tell me if there is anything else I can do besides sending it in....that would be my LAST resort. Please help! Thanks in advance!

You may have a broken motherboard, call HP again, ask for the posibility replacing the whole units since it has been 4 times unsolved problem with the same issue.
