dv9000z wireless not detected - NOT YET SOLVED

I installed the driver that wes_hpnotebook  provided for me, it seemed to work until I restarted my computer. The wireless seems to work when it wants to. I can restart the computer 100 times, and out of that it will recognize maybe 10 times.  I just flashed my bios to the latest version. What else could this be? Bluetooth works fine and the switch for bluetooth /wireless is blue, not amber.

Re: dv9000z wireless not detected - NOT YET SOLVED

Question,

When the WLAN is not working ? Is it seen in Device Manager ? If not you may be looking at a Hardware problem.

Re: dv9000z wireless not detected - NOT YET SOLVED

no, it is not seen in the device manager when it is not working. Is there a way to test the wireless card, or should I just replace it?
