hp advisor and update software

hp advisor and hp update download  

i like to find the link on the hp site and not from the google search but i like to have it on my laptop and desktop

to get the hp advisor and hp update installed

on my computer for some reason it was not on the computer

i hope the link is provided by someone  

it would be helpful and not able to find it on the hp search

hi rick,

i also have hp notebook and figure out how to go directly to the all aavailable driver for my computer.

---follow these steps for you to know how to install manually all updates for your computer..

-go to www.hp.com

-click software and driver

-select the first option <download driver and software

-for product -> you must type the product number "p/n" listed at the button part of your NB >click "go

-select your operating system

*note: for vista

****make sure you know the exact operating system of your computer <32 or 64 bit>

-after selecting it will link you to another screen

-all of that are compatible to your NB-

*note

**** avoid updating all driver if your not experiencing issue with that specific device most especially the  "BIOS" if you are not experiencing any issue w/ your do not update it'. might cause incompaibility..

-for your TOTAL CARE ADVISOR you must look for *ACTIVE SUPPORT LIBRARY"

but i need to know where to find the hp advisor to engage the app and

also were is the file for active support library to engage it

which ever it will be i am still not able to find it

i trying to get it on my desktop like the other has it why it not running or installed i dont know

Thanks for the link and i will try it and plus it never prompted up since i had the brand new computer

but I dont not now why.  It may have to do with registration which i did later

that may be the reason or it was never installed some how which i find it very unusual for hp to left it out

but if i cant get it up it will have to be next year to restalled unless earlier

oh thank for the help but the link did download and stll did not get the result

but i decided on my newer recent HP computer to copy the HP ADVISOR

folder and place it on my other desktop

but for some reason the file was not there i dont know why

and the copy of the file did work and now i can see it

thanks for trying to help but you kinda of gave me the idea

not of your intention well it did help

and i did not have to re-install the computer
