i have some problems with Hp Probook 4530s

[ Edited ]

i got new pro book 4530s

with this specification

core i7 2nd G cash 6

HD 670 GB , Ram 8Gb

i trying to make C partition less space it was about 560 GB trying to use disk management to shrink or Resize the partition

i do it and make it 200 gb  the rest of space tried to make it partition to use for my files but i got an er

"an unexpected error occurred " and i got that you reach maximum of type of this partition , i cant remember exactly whole MSG

searching trying to solve it

then i used hiren cd trying to create this partition but it force me to delete one of other partitions

i didnt delete "HP_RECOVERY" or  "HP_TOOLS' they still exist but  i delete the smallest partition about 300 MB when i tried to press F11 it didnt work and i got error " recoverypartition index==bootpartition "

i read here that you can mark partition of recovery as Active partition , now i can boot to my windows 7

so any one can help me in this case

Re: i have some problems with Hp Probook 4530s

Hi,

Well, it looks like you have deleted the System partition. Here is how to recover it (all steps should be in another link, I post the whole thing for you to see the full picture):

Good luck.

Re: i have some problems with Hp Probook 4530s

Dear friend thanks for your quick reply

in fact i do as you mentioned in the last reply and followed the step

so what done till now

1- i extend partition c as the same before  560 GB

2- make it mark as active

3- checked the HP_RECOVERY and HP_TOOLS partitions are still exist and not hiding or disabled

-- But in disk management still there an unallocated partition 301 MB  and F11 still show the same Error in previous post

so what i have to do now to make laptop as factory setting again and start from beginning  .

Re: i have some problems with Hp Probook 4530s

Hi,

In your original post, you said the F11 option did not work. You need to order a Recovery discs set from this:

Good luck.
