Hello first post, my bios is2.4  20/11/2008 and i am going to be running windows7 ultimate i have looked on the hp site and have noticed the latest bios update for my machine is5.4 (vista) can you please tell me would i be ok to update my machine with this bios  update thanks, i have a hp g60

Hi,

Two things to consider.

1) BIOS update is not recommended unless you are willing to take the risk of "bricking " your notebook.

If everything is working well, why bother to update it? (Murphy's Law applies here)

2) Yes it will work, but see #1
