due to being down for surgery i have no money and need to fix my puter when i try to restore to factory i have problems not everything reinstalls so i am looking for a way to download this to fix my laptop

Unfortunately HP does not offer free downloads, recovery kits can only be purchased from HP.
What you can do is go to this link and download the correct version of W7 (64bit, home, Pro, etc)
Once downloaded burn the ISO file to DVD as an "image", then use this DVD to install windows 7.
Use the product key that is on the sticker on the bottom of your laptop to get W7 activated.
Once this is done you will have to go to the HP support page for your specific model and download drivers and software, then install all those. Not an easy task but will get you running W7 again, legallly.
