looking for drivers for a LG dvd player type hl-dt-st dvdrw gca-4080n

i hope someone here can help as this getting me down.

i had to do a reinstall of win xp due to some issues i had and now i have no drivers for my dvd player, can anyone help pzz.

all i can find i the likes of driver detective witch yah have to pay for, and i cant see y i should have to for 1 driver.

Drivers for a CD/DVD drive are provided by Windows. Only software for added features such as burning,watching videos ,etc is needed.

If that is what you are looking for, such as burning software,try one of these:

 
 
 
For  playing DVDs,VLC Player:
 
 
Or_install codecs and any player can be used,WMP,Real Player,etc:
