XP 32bit

 

every time i insert my SD card into the card reader slot, it keeps asking me to format it ?!

even tho its already been used and had pics/movies on it

 

i downloaded the driver/firmware for the card reader, but it didnt do anything.

in fact, i've checked the version and the driver is the same version as on HP site

 

the SD disk is only 1gb so i know it should be read.

and yes, the write protect is OFF th whole time

 

does anyone have a newer driver elsewhere for this ?

 or have a solution for this or anyone else have this problem ?

Hi,

Try to plug it through pen drive and check if it will work correct then. If not then your card is corrupted or need format for correct work.
