my pc wouldn't reed cds nor dvds?

My computer is a hp pavillion dv2700 and i accidently deleted something while deleting some stuff in the panel of control.. and now my computer wouldn't register any cd of dvd that it is introduced to it. please help me with this problem!

you can entry to HP .com and be dowload to driver of cd and dvd rom

yeah, i found that page with all the drivers to download but couldnt identify the one i needed one..

  1. Click Start  , All Programs , Accessories , System Tools , and then System Restore . Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The Microsoft System Restore utility opens.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to restore the PC to a previous restore point.
  3. If there are one or more Restore recovery points available, click Choose a different restore point , Next , and then select a Date and Time when the PC was operating correctly. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Allow the PC to restart to complete the Microsoft System Restore.
