Re: screen says: www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup

I am having simular issues with my cpu(HP Touchsmart tx2) loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium x64bit just recently loaded Windows 7 Pro and my computer is not working anymore. When it boots-up it loads window files then afterwards on a different screen the Startup Repair tool automatically starts after trying to repair issue its states "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically" Problem Details are as follows:

Problem signature:

Problem Event Name: StartupRepairOffline

Problem Signature 01:  6.1.7600.16385

Problem Signature 02:  6.1.7600.16385

Problem Signature 03:  unknown

Problem Signature 04:  -1

Problem Signature 05:  AutoFailover

Problem Signature 06:  17

Problem Signature 07:  CorruptRegistry

OS Version:    6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1

Locale ID: 1033

After reading different forms stating that it is not possible to upgrade from vista home premium to windows 7 pro now knowing that after the fact how can I either go back to my inital OS (Vista Home Premium) or something that works better. Thanks in advance...

Re: screen says: www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup

Turn off your computer.

Look for the f11 key on your keyboard.

Spam the f11 after you press the power button.

See if it will take you to recovery manager.

Click system recovery and follow instructions to reinstall.
