start -up testoptimi zed dst : failed hard disk 1. hp guy came about two month ag

Memory Test : PASSED
SMART Check: PASSED
Short DST: PASSED
Optimzed DST: FAILED
FAILURE ID : UE311-5G863X-XD002K-61S803
PRODUCT ID : XZ086UA#ABA
Hard Disk 1
About two month ago the HP technician came to my aprtment and replaced HD.
The funny thing is I ran hard disk test and it did not show any hard disk errors, but when ever I turned on the computer it failed.
If that new hard disk is the problem, is it possible to return to hard disk and get a new one? so I can replace it.

Hi
As per the notes given by you below it clearly shows that the Hard drive test has failed and you will need to replace the part only then the unit will start working fine again. Please contact HP Technical support and provide then the Failure ID they should be able to arrange for the replacement off the part.

I can fix by myself if I get a new hard disk drive from HP. BTW my laptop is not under warranty anymore.
So, my question is that you think HP would ask another money for new hard disk even HP changed my hard disk about two month ago? =)

As per my understand the part warranty will be for 3months please contact HP Technical support and check for the details correctly.

This case you might have to purchase the Hard drive then install the operating system on to your new Hard drive.
