Kirad,
Is this your computer?
If Yes:
According to the description on the TouchPad Driver, this is an old Vista Driver. It is rated for Windows 7 (and is under the Windows 7 listing). This revision of the driver may not have all the fancy bits you are seeking for your TouchPad experience.
Option 1:
IF you have the full features in your driver version, then this will help:
Right Click on your Synaptics icon in the Task Bar (or open from Control Panel >
Mouse > Touch Pad Settings)
Click on the Two-Finger Scrolling > See the "spikey" wheel > Click on Spikey Wheel Settings >
Two Finger Scolling > CHECK Enable vertical scrolling...
CHECK Enable horizontal scrolling... and whatever else you want / need > Close
Option 2:
If you like, you can use the Synaptics TouchPad driver from the Synaptics website. Select the driver for your Operating System (Windows 7 - 32/64 bit). This version has all the features described above.
Good Luck!
