where can I find the webcam driver for Compaq Presario CQ-43-110?

i've just bought HP Compaq Presario CQ-43 and installed OS windows 7 (32-bit), but i couldn't find the driver for webcam in the website. where can i find it? thanks

Hi, Davina:

It is possible you only need the Cyberlink You-Cam software to run your camera.

Please see this link to the general W7 upgrade guide for notebooks, and under the Models level 2, you when you scroll down you will find the link for the Cyberlink You-Cam software download.

Hi:

Your English is just fine, but there are only Windows 7 drivers for your notebook on the support page.

Please go into the device manager and click on each device that you need a driver for.

Then click on the details tab.  In the Properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters you see for each missing device.

Those will identify the missing devices, and I can try and find the Vista drivers for them.

One other question...are you running Vista 32 or 64bit?  I will need to know that to send the right drivers to you.

yes this is 32 bits but im trying to install windows vista thats why i need the drivers, im repairing ths laptop and my customer asked me for it

I can't help you if you don't suppy the information I requested above.

The notebook is only supported for Windows 7, and that is why there are no Vista or XP drivers for it.

There are drivers out there, I'm sure, but I need to know what hardware is in the machine.

Hi:

I assume the sound works since it has the Realtek HD audio.

You can try the Realtek Card reader driver for the card reader since the driver works for XP and Windows 7. it should work for Vista.
