windows 7 hp mini 210-1142cl will not connect to the internet

Hello, I have an hp mini 210-1142cl with windows 7. I just purchased it. I connected it to my wireless internet, and it says it is connected. I can only get onto google.com, but when I search I cannot go onto any web pages. Iv'e been at this for hours and i'm getting very frustrated. Can someone please help me out?

Have you tried to connect it via ethernet?

First try to see if you really are online to google.com not just a catched page. Click on News or something, see if a new page displays. Connected doesn't mean you have internet access.
