windows update i get the message page failed to load

i just bought my hp lapton at the end of july this year, and when i try to do a windows update i get the message page failed to load, can someone please help me.

After weeks of having this issue my self and contacting HP and MS I had to resort to the online community to fix this problem. Almost everyone out there was talking about uninstalling a program called Windows Blinds and that fixed it. Well I didn't have a program by that name and so I kept searching. Turns out that Windows Blinds is also knows as (or maybe it's just a similar program) Stardock, and it came bundled with my new HP laptop I purchased. I uninstalled the program and without even restarting the computer Windows Update was working again.

 

So I guess we can all thank HP since they're the ones who put this on our computers. We should also thank them for the high quality support that they provide with this issue. Thanks HP!
