Hi:

 

Please read the XP Downgrade Guide at the link below and follow the instructions on how to install the Conexant audio driver.  Look under the section labeled "Moderate Models" in red.

 

It is a two step process.

 

First, you need to install the MS UAA driver before installing the Conexant audio driver or the sound won't work.

You will need to install the modified audio driver and there are specific instructions on how to do that in that section as well as links to the MS UAA drivers.
