Basic Audio Question

I Have a HP dv6t with beats audio.

I have two speaker jacks on the side, along with a microphone jack. Question ; why do I have two speaker jacks, and what are the "features" that Beats Audio provides ?

Hi HC,

The extra jack is for sharing - gaming and such.

Beats audio is primarily a marketing thing.  The full impact of the audio cannot be experienced without some higher end equipment:  external speakers or headphones that you attach to your computer.  The onboard speakers are ...hmm.. not exemplary.  If you do invest in some good speakers / headphone, the beats chip will provide some very nice audio.  The controls are somewhat the same that you'd find on any control stack.
