Hi, Naveedattari:

Please click on the ethernet controller needing drivers. Then click on the details tab.

In the Properties drop down list select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

Those will identify the model of the ethernet controller and I can try and find drivers for it.

Hi:

From what I can tell, the network adapter is a NETGEAR FA311 Fast Ethernet Adapter.

There are no Vista or W7 drivers for it.

You can try to manually install the XP driver for it, and hope it works.

Dear i tried it but it is not working on my laptop actually i install window 7 on my pc and befor i use the window xp but it is not install ethernet driver on window 7 please tell me another way to update driver ethernet all drivers are updated but missing one that is ethernet for window 7 32 bit Hp compaq nx9005. reply quick.........

Hi:

Unfortunately, the notebook is not supported for Windows 7, and I do not know how to get the ethernet adapter to work when there are no Vista or W7 drivers for it.
