Crackling Audio when Using WiFi - DV6 Beats Edition

I have a HP Pavilion dv6t-6100 CTO SE Notebook with Beats Audio, Win 7 64-bit, and Radion HD 6490M graphics, and have had audio problems since I bought it.  When I am playing an audio source, whether it be playing local music on iTunes, Pandora, a YouTube video, etc, I get some pretty annoying crackling and cutting out when my computer is sending or recieving information via WiFi.  This happens ONLY when using WiFi, and has made it almost unbearable to use WiFi when doing anything with sound.  (I'm sure you can imagine how dissapointing this is, being advertised as a Beats laptop with great audio processing)

I have tried to get answers from the support people, and have done the following:

  1. Hard reset
  2. BIOS update
  3. Reinstall wireless card driver
  4. Reinstall audio driver

However, I'm still having problems and don't know what else to try.

Any suggestions?

I'm still working on it, but found a few other good discussions about this issue here and here

Re: Crackling Audio when Using WiFi - DV6 Beats Edition

It appears that it might have something to do with Windows 7... I have the Windows 8 Preview also installed, and when running 8, I experience none of these problems. I suppose it could just be that 8 is using different drivers than 7 though
