Downgraded HP Pavilion g6-1b50us notebook to Windows XP, no microphone sound?

I recently downgraded my HP Pavilion g6-1b50us to Windows XP Professional SP3. I have all the correct drivers (if anybody needs them just PM me). All of the drivers seem to be correct, except that my built in microphone (next to HP Webcam) is not working. My webcam works but nobody can hear me on Skype. I test the microphone using Windows XP and it does not work. The drivers for the audio are IDT Audio. My audio is working fully but my built in microphone refuses to cooperate. It is not muted or anything and I have all the boost options on. If I use IDT's audio control panel and I set the microphone volume to boost 30, I can hear white noise so it must be detected. Does anybody know how to get the microphone working?
