Free cell sound not working

All of sudden, the sound has stopped working in Free Cell (Windows 7). All other programs have sounds, including the Microsoft games that came with the computer. Only the Free Cell sound has stopped working. I have tried checking and unchecking the sound option in the game itself and this has not helped. I have also gone to "turn Microsoft features on and off" and unchecked Free cell, rebooted and checked back on Free cell and rebooted all to no avail. I have played over 50 games on Free Cell with no problems with the sound before this. No other programs were installed before this happened. There were no other issues.

 

Computer is HP touchsmart 610 All in One. Windows 7.
