Check to see if you have a DVD/CD in your drive.

No there is no dvd/cd in the disk drive. I do have some trouble with my cooling fan could that be the problem?

Hi,

If you have problem with the cooling fan then it will be good to clean the vents of your notebook using compressed air.

I will try the compressed air So far I have used a vacuum cleaner to pull the dust from the fan area. Thank you

The vacuum cleaner is a really bad solution it may cause static discharge and this way damage the components.

If the vacuum is too powerful, it can spin it too fast and possible break one of the fins.  That would cause a loud noise.
