HP Pavilion Entertainment DV7 1240 Speakers are not working

Has anyone else had this problem the tool bar at the top of the notebook is amber and the speakers will not play, if I plug in a headphone they work.  I can not seem to find the correct version of drivers to make this work.  Any help?  Would really like to have my speakers working again,
