How do I get the sound progress line to reappear on the desktop again? (Pavilion dc7-3188cl)

My sound line commands on the keyboard do work, however, I have lost the sound progress line on the desktop.  How do I get it back?

Hi

Please right click on your desktop screen select the option Gadgets click on the Volume gadget select Add ot just click and drag it to your desktop.

I tried Manjunath's recommendations, but can't find the 'sound' icon on the gadgets page?  Is there another way to restore the volume bar?

I tried it too and could not find a 'volume" icon.  Fortunately, the problem has resolved itself, and the progress bar is now available.  Thanks for you comments.
