You get sound????
I've lost waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy too much time trying to get HP to even communicate with it's own wireless printer, I've totally given up on the IDT audio,,,,I play music through the HDMI until I can get a Toshiba laptop,,,,but I'm terrified of moving my files and messing up a new laptop with HP technology. (and I'm still stuck with a useless $350 HP printer)
After reading your entire posts list, looks like you figured out the biggest problem was high expectations from HP, like me. Try another brand my friend.,,,I've seen in person, that life is better when we look beyond HP's walmart attitude.
(HDMI works through a Dynex TV, but an expensive speaker system by Altec Lansing, and Microsoft LifeChat headphones are a waste of money when I connect them to a HP/Windows 7 Laptop?? I have no idea how to edit the registry and don't think that should be a required skill just to own an HP product,,,,off to Toshiba I go next time!!!)
