No sound coming from laptop. Sound just stopped working. Even with headphones not working. How to fix? HP pavilion dv7. windows 7 64-bit

Use the button at top of this page titled Support & Drivers to find your downloads page.Download latest audio driver and Save it. Next uninstall your audio driver and install the new one.

I have the same problem.
I cannot download new drivers for my computer -HP Pavilion dv6700 notebook pc ...because you do not have them available for windows 7.
-What do I do then?
-I have no audio suddenly, and cannot update my drivers to troubleshoot.

Right click the Audio device in Device Manager and Uninstall it.Shutdown the laptop and do a hard reset.Disconnect all external devices first.
1-remove power cord and battery
2-press power button for 30 seconds
3-reinstall only power cord for first startup.
4-power on
