No HDMI sound on HDX-18

Hello,

 

I just connected my laptop (HDX-18) to my tv by HDMI cable. Although i see my screen on tv, i couldnt get the sound by HDMI. Those are my sound driver & sofware.

 

NVDIA High Definition Audio 1.1.9.0

IDT High Definition Audio Codec 6.10.6276.0

 

IDT sofware doesnt see any nvidia hdmi output thats the reason why i think this sound problem occurs.

Hi,

 

Please try this

 

  • Right click the speaker icon
  • Select Playback deivces
  • Enable NVIDIA HDMI sound

It is already enabled.

 

Although it is connected between tv and laptop, it says "not plugged in"

Hi,

 

My suggestion: uninstall both drivers, reboot the machine, wait for Windows to find the drivers and reinstall them (only if required).
