Hi,

I realised your post is a couple of years old but i seem to have the same problem as you did with my pavilion dm4.

One of the internal speaker isnt working properly (the sound is very distorted), while the sound through headphones is just fine.

What did you do in the end? I guess i'll have to replace the faulty speaker (it started playing up a week after the end of the warranty) but Cannot find the part only.

Your experience would be most helpful, thanks!
