No sound out on headphone jack!

Hi all!

I've just purchased a HP Elitebook 8460p with Win 7 Pro 64 on it. Everything is ok but 1 strange problem. The sound is good when use laptop speakers. But when plug in the headphone in headphone jack. Ofcause the sound to the speakers stop but in the phone, there is no sound too. The indicator of sound level on Setting ---> Sound is still show that the song is played and the sound bar is jumping. But no sound on headphone. Plug out the jack then the sound back to the speakers again.

I've try all my best to fix but can and dont know wat happen and how to fix!!??

Anyone have suggestions for me!??

Have the same issue, its driving me crazy!

Found the correct solution.

Right click on speaker in menu, menu pops up click "Playback Tab" Right click on "Communications Headphones"  Set as default device.

I disabled the enable then set to default and confirmed.
