On audio and video playback I hear a buzzing sound

When playing videos or music I get a buzzing sounds through my laptop speakers. On video, it will stop when this occurs and even the mouse freezes temporarily. I have updated my drivers and it still occurs. What causes this and what can I do for it?

I see other people have this problem but I can't find the solution. It's occasional buzzes on the speakers when I'm watching a video. The mouse momentarily freezes--fraction of a second--and the video jumps. Sometimes the busses are pretty quick and have a slightly different tone.

Any help?
