Pavilion dv3510nr Windows Vista 64 bit: Mute Touch Button

Mute button glows red constantly, use to glow white after start-up.   Has been doing this for about a month.

I know this sounds silly, but have you tried pushing it to unmute it?

Yes I have.  The functionality works fine when its touched.

If you unmute it and then restart the PC, does it still start as muted?

Yes after start-up it still glows amber/red whether the functionality is on or off.

Holly I have not.  Have not done driver updates since I have had the this computer (3 years).

Is there a way that I can check for updated versions on all drivers ?

If you have a different product you'd like to update, go to Support & Drivers and enter your product name or model number.
