[ Edited ]

Hello

Re: Problem with microphone on hp probook 4730s

I have bought my hp 4730 and had same audio problems. some time microphone does not work some time speakesr stop working.

these are few things I tried and now microphones and speakers and recording are working. but I still do not know how r they working:smileytongue:

these are the few thing i did being engineer I love playing with options

1, As I like closing all the window sounds as they irritates me but  now I have opened all the sounds:s

also go in hardware and sound > sound> manage sound, make either head phone default if you are using head phones and if you are using speakers then make speaker option default.(I played with different options and they worked)

in same window u will se recording tab, click it and set integrated option as default.

in same sound window you will see communication tab.

in that tab choose "do nothing"

(usually it is set that if you are on call then all other media volume lower or mute so better not allow window do any thing:smileytongue:)

if you are using skype or other communication software and other party can not listen to you or vice versa then go in software's sound or audio setting and choose the integrated audio option.

hope it will help u.
