Sound Card gone dead on HP Pavilion DV5127ea running Win XP

For the past 2 days i have tried every single HP driver for the HP pavilion laptop to get my sound card working.

I am now in a situation where it does not allow me to uninstall the Connext Hardware or the Bluetooh Hardware. It just hangs the the only way out of th erro message is to reboot the PC. The Hardware driver refresh doee not work either. All I get is a cryptic unable to uninstall error code(39) and I need HELP please.

I have no sound on my laptop
