I recently purchased a HP Pavilion dv7-6c20US laptop (product number: A7B09UA#ABA) with "beatsaudio" and everything seems to work fine. The issue that I am having is that the sound is fine when it is lower, and when I use headphones, but when I turn the volume up, the sound begins to skip. It does with about everything that I try that plays sound. I have poked around on the internet and I have not found any solution yet. I tried re-installing the latest driver for it and no dice.

I am still having issues. I tried doing both the hp.com driver and the recovery Manager. I apologize for the delay in responding. I didnt get a email saying there was a response.

Hello,
Sorry for the late response.
Any update on this?
I couldn't replicate the issue with any driver.
