Speakers not working on HP Laptop

The speakers have quit working less than a year on every computer I have owned from HP. DO NOT BUY an HP computer or anything associated with HP. I am on my third hard drive. I've owned the laptop for 26 months. Needless to say, it is out of warranty and HP will not replace it. When I complained to the service department in chat, they cut me off.
