HP Pavilion dv8 Notebook PC

Window 7 64-bit

Nvidia High Definition Audio, Driver: nvhda64v.sys, Version: 1.1.9.0

IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, Driver: stwrt64sys, Version: 6.10.6269.0

 

The treble and bass controls flash on the screen without being prompted and interrupt operations.  No new or changes to system.

Hi,

 

Download and apply the firmware update for the capacitive strip on the following link.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp53501-54000/sp53677.exe

 

After this has completed, restart the notebook.
