Volume control keys on keyboard not working

i figured out what was wrong. Power save mode was on which disabled the quick launch keys. I changed it by entering the settings from the audio icon in taskbar.

Hi!

I bought a HP Pavilion dv6 XD622EA about 6 months ago and the volume control shortcut keys stopped working yesterday. All the other shortcut keys work fine, apart from the increase and decrease volume buttons (the mute button also works). I have tried reinstalling the drivers that were suggested, but they have not fixed the problem. Any suggestions?

Same problem for me also, i too purchased Pavilion G6 1301TX model 2week before, volume control and also brightness control keys both are not working..... why these type of problems occur that to in a brand like HP i feel very sad about this.
