altec lancing speaker not working on my dv6-3055dx

well i dont know if it has died completly or not but i was listening to music and all of a sudden my right internal speaker quit on me. im trying to do what i can to figure it out and get it working, but if anyone has encountered this same issue please help me out. i have had my dv6 3055dx for only 5 months and dont want to go through the hassel of waranty processessing.

Same problem. I tried everything, faulty altec lansing speakers or wiring of the speakers is the only conclusion.

my right internal speaker is not working too. I went on the Controls IDT Audio settings, clicked on Speakers and headphones, Setup and pressed on the FR speaker, no souond seemed to come out ):

i went and talked to HP's Online Chat and they said i have to send my laptop in for a diagnosis and possible warranty repair. i need to talk to them a little more but so far it seems its a hardware failiure that i can get fixed via warranty but im hoping i dont have to send it in. ill keep you guys posted though.
