an HDMI problem

hello .

i have an hp pavilion dv6- 2133ee and a sound system sony 6.2 ht-ddw5500 with a hdmi input

I have tried to output the sound from my laptop to the sound system with a hdmi cable but there is no sound

olso i tried an hd tv. every thing was ok 

so is there any chance to use the hdmi port for only sound outputing?
