audio drop outs

I have my HP laptop connect to tv via HMDI cable.  I constantly get audio drop outs that last around 4 seconds.  I have 50 mb internet.  The video is not affected.  I have done all the updates to adobe flash player and drivers that I can think of.  Any suggestions?
