Sound system is not working

I have a HP G60-530us, The speaker is not working,   found a "Smart Audio" after I open the control panel.

When check the logo stats" no device found".

It is there, but the computer could not find it.

Please advice. Thanks, Judy

Re: Sound system is not working

OK...if are you have Windows 7, Open the Play Sound troubleshooter by clicking the Start, enter  in the search troubleshoot field, and then select Troubleshooting from the list. Under Hardware and Sound, click Troubleshoot audio playback .‌ Enter administrator password or confirmation if prompted. See if find the solution to problem. if not try, reinstall the Conexant High-Definition SmartAudio Driver from HP Recovery manager and check...
