My laptop is dv7-3105ea. The touch buttons above the keybord and just below the screen stopped working. Could someone help please? Thanks.

Try a hard reset, works sometimes.Disconnect all external devices first.

1-remove power cord and battery

2-press power button for 30 seconds

3-reinstall only power cord for first startup.

4-power on

I tried the solution you offered, but to no avail. I even replaced my battery. Do you have any other suggestions?
