Hi, Chloe:

You may have to install the nVidia HDMI audio driver for your notebook.

Re: hdmi cable HP pavilion dv6905ee to connect to my Panasonic T.V. I can get a picture but no sound

Hi:

I wish I could help, but I don't have HDMI on my notebooks, so I don't know how to troubleshoot.

It may have something to do with managing audio devices.

You may have to select the HDMI audio from the hardware and sound section of the control panel.

Re: hdmi cable HP pavilion dv6905ee to connect to my Panasonic T.V. I can get a picture but no sound

Hi:

HDMI audio should be showing up there. It is on my desktop PC's with HDMI audio.

Mine are listed as ATI HDMI audio devices and show as unplugged (because I don't have any HDMI audio cable plugged in).

You may want to try reinstalling the HDMI audio driver I posted above.

Re: hdmi cable HP pavilion dv6905ee to connect to my Panasonic T.V. I can get a picture but no sound

Hi:

The driver I posted works for both W7 and Vista 32 or 64 bit, as indicated on the web page.

Operating System:Windows Vista, Windows XP 64-bit, Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista 64-bit

The ones I highlighted in green are the 32 bit drivers.
