hp tc1100 sound driver not working

recently had to reinstall OS, now my sound driver is not working. Multimedia audio controller is under other devices in device manager.

When run the Soundmax install(Recommended audio driver on HP site), it erroes out with driver not found.

I know this is an old thread,  but the old drivers worked for me:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp27001-27500/sp27118.exe

Thanks, the old driver works for me too but not the newest
