I was fooling around with my new notebook's int. microphone and I'm not sure what I did, but the microphone's name and icon disappeared. How can i get it back? Any ideas are appreciated.

Hi John,

Right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select 'Recording Devices'.  In the following window, right click in an empty area and put a tick against both 'Show Disabled Devices' and 'Show Disconnected Device' - does it now show in the list?  If it does, but is shown as Disabled, just right click the entry and select Enable.
