Hi

You have a couple of options as I see it.

Go to device manager and uninstall the driver and restart and unit will install the driver automatically.

Try doing System restore to the date when the unit was working fine.

Try to update the driver from hp.com website.

Last step is to run a recovery on the unit before this please back up your data.

If still does not work speaker on the unit has gone bad needs to be replaced.

If your notebook is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange to have the speaker replaced.

please i dont know which driver to uninstall moreover sound from my laptops speakers is not coming if i connect earphones sound is alright
