Beats audio problem

Hi,

 

I recently let my laptop run a new hp update and realised afterward that my Beats Audio software was refusing to run. When I search for beats audio in the start menu and click on beats audio control panel a small window pops up saying "Cannot find startup file". 

My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC LS249EA#ABU

 

Does anyone know if it is possible for me to get beats audio back and how I go about doing this??

Hi,

 

Try downloading and reinstalling the IDT Audio driver on the link below as this also contains the Beats Audio interface.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52001-52500/sp52399.exe

 

After the installation has completed, restart the notebook.

solved my audio problem no audio, red x by audio icon.
