DV7-6015TX No Beats Audio Control Panel Software

Hi, I recently reinstalled Windows 7 32-bit onto my 64-bit computer

because of various software availability issues.

While doing so, I effectively deleted my Beats Audio software.

May I please be notified of all software that came preinstalled onto a

"HP Pavilion dv7-6015tx Entertainment Notebook PC"?

and also may I have links to download such software?

I have most of the drivers, but I am looking for the software

that is exclusive to a NEW preinstalled HP Pavilion dv7-6015tx Entertainment Notebook PC product.

Thanks, :smileywink:

Re: DV7-6015TX No Beats Audio Control Panel Software

If you have already made recovery media then your software is located in it.1.  Check in disc #2 for software.

Be advised that the following is a destructive recovery. Save your important files/data to avoid having them being deleted.

You can also reinstall the software by accessing the Recovery manager. Press the power button and then press Esc and then choose F11-System Recovery. Under the  "I need help immediately" choose restore your computer to the out-of -the-box state.

Best regards,

Will this destructive recovery return the Os to a 64 bit-state?

And where can I obtain this "disc #2"?

Re: DV7-6015TX No Beats Audio Control Panel Software

I didn't want to say the solution because I felt like an idiot....

I missed out downloading one of the drivers for my product....

It was the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver I needed that allowed me to use my

"Beats Audio" control panel and everything associated with it.

So anyways, thanks to Erico and the forum for your continued support.

Re: DV7-6015TX No Beats Audio Control Panel Software

[ Edited ]

Hello!

I had previously bought a different distro of Windows 7 (Pro 64-bit),

that I decided to install, so I backed up an image of the original install

into an external hard drive.

I then did a clean Windows installation, leaving out much (all?) of the

bloatware that was originally in.

Most of the drivers, Windows installed them by itself, including

audio drivers.

When I missed the Beats Audio software I started to look

frantically where to download it from, I even downloaded the

IDT drivers with no luck, so I forgot it for a time.

Now that I read Jjknz's experience, I want to ask:

I downloaded the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver and

believe me, the Beats Audio option is not there, UNLESS, you

insure me that it's there and I just need to install the "HP Quick

Launch sp50681" software , or the "Software Framework sp53794"?

Or please tell me what is it needed to activate said function?

Thanks in advance for your attention to this message.

Re: DV7-6015TX No Beats Audio Control Panel Software

I'm not 100% confident if it was 'ONLY' the IDT HD Audio Driver.

It might have been a combination of the software and drivers provided.

But what I can guarantee is that after downloading ALL the software and downloads available

(most recent software/driver if multiple dates supplied)

My Beats Audio came back. When I say 'came back' I have no idea where the software is.

I can't find the directory to where it is installed, however I can access it via fn+b and on the start tray.

It might be in your case the quick launch software that is missing. Maybe.

Re: DV7-6015TX No Beats Audio Control Panel Software

Beats Audio Control panel is a part of the IDT HP Audio software driver softpaq. Just so you know.
